Wildlife

As we are located inside Carnarvon National Park, we are home to an abundance of wildlife including bats. Particularly in the cooler months, you may notice evidence of the bats around the park including noise, smell and animal droppings. We have undertaken a number of initiatives to ensure our guests have a wonderful time at BIG4 Carnarvon Gorge Holiday Park, and these important mammals have a home for centuries to come. We are closing some sites that are heavily affected, increasing bat-specific cleaning around the park and liaising with Queensland Parks and Wildlife.
